Telehealth Counseling for Maine Residents

Announcement: Now Offering Telehealth Therapy to Clients in the State of Maine

Update 7/1/21: The State of Civil Emergency in Maine due to COVID-19 has ended on June 30, 2021. This means that all work with Maine clients will be ended by August 29, 2021. I appreciate the opportunity to serve you during this time.

As of March 18, 2021, I am offering telehealth therapy for residents in Maine. I’m happy to support Mainers with short-term therapy for managing distress during this challenging time. Check out my ‘About‘ and ‘FAQ‘ pages for more information on my therapeutic approach.

I’ve been approved by the Maine Board of Social Work for an emergency license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This was made possible by Governor Mills’ Executive Order 35, to support increased access to mental health services for Mainers during COVID-19.

According to Maine law, this temporary license is valid up to 60 days beyond the end of the declared state of emergency. Once the state of emergency has been lifted, we can continue our relationship for up to 60 days. We’ll make a plan for referral or additional supports at that time.

For additional questions, reach out by phone at 828-527-6023, or e-mail at hello@cosmostherapy.com. To schedule a free phone consultation, you may contact me directly or follow the “Request a free consultation” link from the homepage.

I look forward to being of service.

Kindly,

Rose Ferron, LCSW, LCASA
